Continuing its ongoing series of interviews with Redwall creators, The Long Patrol has just posted its interview with illustrator David Elliot!

Since debuting as series illustrator in 2002, David has illustrated Triss, Loamhedge, Rakkety Tam, High Rhulain, Eulalia!, The Angel’s Command, Voyage of Slaves and the Mossflower Collector’s Edition. He’s currently at work on the next Redwall novel, Doomwyte.

In the interview, David talks about his life experiences (three words: dishwasher in Antarctica), how he got the job with Redwall, the differences between it and the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series, and much more.
