‘Doomwyte’ & A New Castaways

Brian JacquesFollowing up Brian’s revelation during his U.K. book tour that he’d have two books coming out in 2008, The Redwall Wiki is reporting that he revealed to a fan at a U.S. signing (a girl by the name of Katie) the title of the new Redwall book:

Doomwyte

Additionally, Brian revealed that the second book will be a fourth entry into the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series (although, unfortunately, there’s no title for this one yet).

No further details were disclosed. Is Doomwyte connected to Urthwyte? Is it a ship? A title? A weapon? We’ll have to wait and see.

Doomwyte should hit shelves in September 2008, Brian’s standard release window. It’s unknown when the new Castaways book will be released (I wouldn’t be surprised to see it pushed to March 2009, though).
