An advance reading copy of Eulalia! was recently put up on eBay, and with it a scan of the U.S. cover art by Troy Howell (seen right). Depicted is Gorath, the young badger destined to become Badger Lord of Salamandastron.
In related news, Redwall fans should take note– in promotion of the upcoming release, Philomel is offering bookstores packs of Eulalia! Trading Cards, which will feature the U.S. cover art. How bookstores distribute these cards will be up to them– in the past, some stores incorporated the cards into their displays, while others kept them behind the check-out counter. The bookstores receive the cards in packs of 10, so supplies will be limited– if you aren’t there early on release day, the odds are you won’t get a card.
