At long last, David Wyatt’s artwork for the cover the the UK edition of Loamhedge has surfaced (courtesy of Blackwell’s Online Bookshop). The cover showcases badger Lonna Bowstripe aiming a flaming arrow into the night sky, shadowed by what appears to be the characters Sarobando (the squirrel), Bragoon (the otter), and Horty (the hare).

Loamhedge is slated to be released in the UK on February 5th, 2004. If you can’t wait that long, it hits US shelves in just a few weeks, on September 29th, 2003.

Stay tuned to The Newsline for more Loamhedge news and The Long Patrol’s upcoming book review.

(Special thanks to Long Patrol Club member Oasis Muse for bringing this to my attention.)
