Dropping Like Flies…

The review for episode #6, “High Standards“, was added to RWTV last night.

There have been two more Redwall cancellations and one more announced airtime.

• WGBH, Boston, MA, will no longer be airing the series.
• WGBX, Boston, MA, will no longer be airing the series.
• KLPB, Lafayette, LA, will air the series two-episodes at a time at 5:00PM on Sundays.

According to Dave, the reason so many PBS-affiliates are dropping Redwall is that their stations are more-geared towards younger viewers. They view Redwall as being too violent and cancel it. It stinks, to be sure. If your station cancels the show, you might change their mind by writing directly to them. Anything is worth a shot. And, unlike most other stations, PBS actually listens to what you say. Be sure to write your affiliate, though, and not PBS itself. Good luck!
