Two Months of Updates

Sorry for the length of silence there. A year-long project I and a group of friends have been working on is in the process of wrapping up, so I’ve been busy taking care of a lot of things having to do with that. There’s still a few more weeks to go so you won’t be seeing major updates, but news updates should be back and things should quiet down once more in time for Triss‘ release.

For now, there are a couple of things I’ve been asked to mention. First and foremost is the full-return of Terrouge at their new (presumably permenant) home, www.terrouge.com. Best of luck with the new host, guys.

Also, the makers of Starblade Isle have put together a Survivor-type game called RedVenture. If you can’t get enough of Survivor-type role-playing, give it a look.

In news closer to home, this Thursday will mark The Long Patrol’s sixth year of existence. Even I am amazed at how fast time flies. Like last year, there won’t be a huge update, but I’ll be sure to get something special up for the occasion. ;)

Also, the Make ‘Redwall’ Soundtrack a Reality petition (currently clocking in with 325 signatures) has had a goal set. To ensure a soundtrack release, we’ll need to have somewhere in the ballpark of 4,000 signatures. We’re a ways off, but if everyone keeps on plugging the petition, we’ll get there. Thank you for your support. Any permenant, prominent links to the petition are appreciated.

The paperback edition of The Taggerung is set to be released at the end of the month (August 27th, specifically…. thanks for the reminder, Violett). If you haven’t picked it up yet, be sure to do so. The spoiler ban on the Forum will be lifted once the PB is on the shelves and everything is fair game after that. Read at your own risk.

Once that project I mentioned is finished, I’ll be turning my attention to overhauling the site design. For now, I’ll call it the “rebuilding”, for reasons I won’t get into just yet. But, there’s plenty on the horizon, so stick around.
