For some reason, this kept on slipping my mind. Better late than never, though.
The following e-mail was sent out to quite a few Redwall sites over the past few weeks (I received it three times, myself). So, you may have seen the news already. Nonetheless, I’m sure many of you in the Jersey area would appreciate knowing.
See Redwall Come to Life Onstage!
< On March 15-17, 2002, you can see “The Legend of Redwall Abbey” performed at the Kelsey Theatre in Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, New Jersey! Produced by the Pennington Players, this musical adaptation of Brian Jacques’ Redwall features a cast of nearly fifty children and adults. It has all your favorite characters, including Matthias, Cluny, Father Abbot, Constance, Jess, Basil, Sela, Silent Sam and Asmodeus! Visit www.mccc.edu/kelseytheatre/redwall.html for more information!
Also, for those of you who were waiting, Castaways of the Flying Dutchman hit the shelves in paperback last month. A nice reproduction of the “spectra” effect from the hardcover edition. The downside, though, is that it lost the Ian Schoenherr illustrations, which gave the book an extra flair. Be sure to pick it up.
