Have you all read the aeohrsbl, sibhrana (i can’t remember the third one) by Garth Nix. Another greater writer Piers Anthony wrote a series in a world called Xanath alot of toungue and cheek humor. Have the boys read any of David Eddings? The Belgariad, the young boy Garion is 14 and is beginning to realize his life is not what it seems. Loads of magic my favorite character is Aunt Pol. Oops didnt mean to ramble!!
